The purpose of the Safety Subcommittee is to meet on a regular basis to monitor progress on the Strategic Highway Safety Plan’s implementation in the Baltimore region and to develop plans and programs using Baltimore Regional Transportation Board leadership to raise safety awareness in the region. The committee is made up of safety stakeholders from each of the jurisdictions and state agencies representing the 4 E’s of: Engineering, Education, Enforcement, and Emergency Medical Services.
