The Baltimore Metropolitan Council provides a variety of information products and services to support our staff, colleagues, researchers, and business people.
The Regional Information Center is a library operated as a partnership between the Baltimore Metropolitan Council and the Enoch Pratt Free Library (Baltimore City's public library system). The collection includes regional and urban planning materials with a focus on local demographic information, economic development, transportation planning, land use and environmental issues.
BMC staff provide some fee-based custom work for for clients (for-profit, non-profit or individuals). It includes but is not limited to: demographic profiles of specific areas, building permit data reports and access, mapping, and data analysis or transportation modeling runs.
This section contains work products generated by the BMC or partner agencies that contain information pertaining to the Baltimore region. The types of information range from maps that were generated for presentations or reports, a section on traffic count data and a section on crash data.
This section houses our reports, organized into the following categories: annual reports, environment, socioeconomic trends and transportation.
